Hi, I’m Ivana – mum of two and the face behind Mini Studio.
I’ve been photographing babies, children and families across Nelson for more than 10 years – and along the way I’ve photographed hundreds of little faces, cuddled a lot of babies, made a fool of myself for a smile more times than I can count, and become very good at working quickly!
One of my favourite parts of Mini Studio is seeing the same families come back. Tiny newborns become sitting babies, toddlers suddenly look like big kids, families grow and change – and somehow another year has rolled around. Before long, those photographs become a collection of all the little stages that pass far too quickly.
Everything is photographed in my private Nelson studio, with a simple, timeless style that keeps the focus on your baby, your child or your family – exactly as they are right now.

Come into my Nelson studio at your booked time and I’ll take care of the rest. Sessions are relaxed, fun and only take a few minutes.

After your session, I’ll carefully select and edit your photos before delivering them digitally. Depending on the Mini you’ve booked, you’ll either receive your included image or a gallery to choose from.
